The Home of Country Music. The Bacon Takedown has a new best love and that is Nashville, because wow. Everything about this town is perfect! Everyone was good looking, fly, and nice- which I think is weird. Yo Nashville, what’s up with all the hospitality? The biggest bummer in America is leaving Nashville.

And this first takedown was beautiful- above Paradise Park in downtown Nashville. This insanely insane outdoor space Aerial looks down on all the honkytonks. Just saying that word makes a my heart sing!

As usual, takedowners stepped up and reached into the bowels of their minds to create unheard-of dishes. We saw Bacon Bloody Mary’s, Bacon Chicken rolls, donuts, the list goes on..

Loveless Cafe came out to support, and brought with them their trademark bacon popcorn, and TONS of bacon shwag- band-aids, lunchboxes, wallets… They are the home of the best biscuits in all of history.

Patterson House, one of the top new bars in the country, was also there to represent. They sling varsity drinks – including and most preferably for me – the Bacon Old Fashioned!!! Josh Habiger was the celebrity chef/mixologist at the helm. And a seriously dope individual.
